Transportation for Individuals with Disabilities

The Department of Transportation is proposing to amend its Americans with Disabilities Act and section 504 regulations to update requirements concerning rail station platforms, clarify that public transit providers are required to make modifications to policies and practices to ensure that their programs are accessible to individuals with disabilites, and codify the Department's practice concerning the issuance of guidance on disability matters.
