Nuclear Regulatory Commission

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is amending its regulations (10 CFR part 5) to include a list of the types of Federal finanical assistance activities administered by the NRC under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission made available the “Fire Dynamic Tools -- Quantitative Fire Hazard Analysis Methods for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Fire Protection Inspection Program.”
Several agencies amended their regulations to prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability and age in programs or activities that rely on federal financial assistance. Effective date: Sept. 25, 2003.
The NRC published its final policy guidance to federal financial assistance recipients on Title VI’s prohibition against national origin discrimination as it affects limited English proficient persons.
