Program Area
Programe Purpose
To support local Stand Down events that assist homeless Veterans reintegrate into the workforce and provide them with a wide variety of social services including temporary shelter, showers, haircuts, meals, clothing, hygiene care kits, medical examinations, immunizations, legal advice, State identification cards, veteran benefit information, training program information, employment services and referrals to other supportive services. Applications need to be submitted 90 days prior to a Stand Down event
