Relief from HUD Public Housing and Section 8 Requirements Available During CY 2020 and CY 2021 to Public Housing Agencies To Assist With Recovery and Relief Efforts on Behalf of Families Affected by Presidentially Declared Major Disasters

The Department of Housing and Urban Development advised the public that, in order to more effectively and expeditiously respond to presidentially declared major disaster declarations, it is establishing for calendar years 2020 and 2021 an expedited process for the review of requests for relief from HUD regulatory and/or administrative requirements for public housing agencies located in counties that are included in major disaster declarations
