Regional Haze Regulations; Revisions to Provisions Governing Alternative to Source-Specific Best Available Retrofit Technology Determinations
The Environmental Protection Agency revised the provisions of the Regional Haze Rule governing alternative trading programs in response to a U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruling, which vacated in part and sustained in part the Regional Haze Rule based on a finding that EPA's prescribed methods for determining best available retrofit technology were inconsistent with the Clean Air Act
