Oregon Looks To Curb Medicaid Improper Payments

After a recent Oregon Audits Division (OAD) estimate that the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) reimbursed some $1.6 million in Medicaid payments that were at a high risk of being improper, OHA is now looking to implement further internal controls, such as updating its automated billing systems and making other process changes.
