Although the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is reluctant to do so, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), in a recent report, urged the agency to identify and document lessons learned from its COVID-19 response so that FEMA can better estimate Disaster Relief Fund (DRF) obligations to combat catastrophic disasters in the future.
