NSF Auditors Question Less Than $80,000 at CU. The National Science Foundation (NSF) Office of Inspector General (OIG) engaged outside auditors to conduct a performance audit of incurred costs at the University of Colorado (CU) for the period from Oct. 1, 2014, to Sept. 30, 2017. Auditors tested more than $1.6 million of the $216.5 million of costs claimed to NSF.
