The Department of the Interior has no formal departmentwide grant dispute resolution procedures, although certain DOI grant program regulations allow for appeals of a reduction or termination of grant funds. Grant disputes may include adverse agency decisions regarding claims and statements made by a grantee with respect to - including eligibility for - a grant, loan or benefit from DOI or any state or other party if funded in part or reimbursed by the federal government (43 C.F.R.
