512 - Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act

Federal grant recipients are prohibited by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794) from discriminating in their programs or activities, including all aspects of employment, against individuals with disabilities. The law mandates that all recipients and subrecipients review and, if necessary, modify their programs and activities so that individuals with disabilities are not precluded from participating in, receiving the benefits of, or being discriminated under those programs or activities.
