Representations and certifications, also known as “reps and certs” or federal assurances, list required regulatory and national policy requirements associated with a federal award. A certification under the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) uniform guidance (§200.415) requires the authorized organizational representative (AOR) or certifying official in a recipient or subrecipient to sign reports that are submitted post-award.
