Programe Purpose
To support the development and implementation of effective community-based HIV Prevention Programs that serve young men of color who have sex with men and young transgender persons of color and their partners at high risk for acquiring or transmitting HIV; to increase the number of males and transgender persons of color who are aware of their HIV status and linked to care, treatment and prevention services; to build the capacity of CBOs delivering selected structural interventions, behavioral interventions, outreach or enhanced HIV testing to young men and transgender persons of color and their partners at high risk for acquiring or transmitting HIV; to ensure the provision of HIV prevention and care services; and to promote the collaboration and coordination of HIV prevention efforts among community-based organizations, health departments and private agencies
