Food Stamp Program: Civil Rights Data Collection

The Food and Nutrition Service finalized a rule to implement the revised collection and reporting of racial/ethnic data by state agencies on persons receiving benefits from the Food Stamp Program, which complies with new racial/ethnic data collection standards issued by the Office of Management and Budget (7 CFR Part 272, Effective June 19, 2006).
