Thompson Grants Looks Forward To Meeting All 2023 NGMA AGT Attendees
It’s that time of year again! Once again, grants management will take center stage in the D.C. area this week as the National Grants Management Association (NGMA) hosts its 2023 Annual Grants Training conference at a new venue — the Washington Hilton — and Thompson Grants is looking forward to meeting all attendees at this year’s event.
We are especially interested in hearing from Office of Management and Budget (OMB) officials about their plans for revising Title 2, including the uniform guidance at 2 C.F.R. Part 200, this year. OMB accepted comments recently as part of a request for information on suggestions for potential changes to Title 2, and we want to see if OMB will share any of information on common comments and its next course of action. We also hope they will inform the attendees about when to expect this year’s Compliance Supplement.
As we have in the past, Thompson Grants will be covering this important keynote session, and will make our subscribers aware if any information shared. We also will be sitting in on some of our other favorite sessions, including one featuring several federal agency Inspector’s General office officials, and the always popular grants attorney question-and-answer session, which features two members of Thompson’s editorial advisory board – Diz Locaria and Tiffany Kesslar, Esq.
There also are numerous breakout sessions that we will be attending, including sessions titled: “Beyond the Metrics: Telling Your Grant Impact Story;” “Teaching to the Test! What You Need to be Prepared to Answer During Your First Single Audit;” and “The Secret Life of Grants: Hidden Costs”.
We also welcome all attendees to stop by the Thompson Grants booth in the Exhibit Hall to learn more about our products, events and services, and find out if our on-site training opportunities may be a good fit for your organization.
As for me, I’ll be earnestly taking notes in the front row. Feel free to stop by and say hello!
