Come By and See Us at the 2019 NGMA Annual Grants Training

It’s that time of year again. The flowers are blooming, the grass is turning green and folks are gathering in Crystal City, Va., for the National Grants Management Association’s annual grants training.

We will be attending this year’s conference yet again, and Thompson Grants also will be an exhibitor, so if you are attending, please stop by and find out more about what our products and services can do to help you apply for and manage your grant awards.

Among the sessions we will be attending are the keynote session with speakers from the Office of Management and Budget and Department of Health and Human Services. We also will be attending sessions about partnering with internal auditors to improve compliance, future legislative actions, data mining, understanding the complexities of grants, reporting and reconciliation, better procurement policies, strategies for pass-through entities and ensuring allowable costs. That sounds like a pretty well-rounded agenda, covering issues throughout the grants lifecycle from pre-award through to single audit.

We also plan to send out tweets from this year’s conference and will be conducting an interview or two to post on the Video Corner feature in the GrantViews section of our online library. Make sure to look for those interviews in the coming days as we post them.
