Copayments for Medications After June 30, 2010

The Department of Veteran Affairs affirmed a final rule to establish the copayment amount for enrollment priority categories two through six at $8, the copayment amount for veterans in enrollment priority categories seven and eight will remain at $9 and on January 1, 2012, the copayment amounts will increase based on the prescription drug component of the Medical Consumer Price Index which will cause the maximum annual copayment amount to increase
